Stephen has been involved in the biotechnology industry for more than 30 years. He has held sales and marketing management roles with global leaders that have included US Surgical Corporation (USSC), and Smith and Nephew Inc. During his transition from the devices sector to biopharmaceuticals, Stephen patented and subsequently commercialised a range of surgical assets in the field of orthopaedics. Prior to joining EnGeneIC, Stephen was Chief Executive Officer of InterK Peptide Therapeutics, a virtual preclinical stage biotechnology company that he helped spin out of the University of Newcastle in 2004.
